March, 2012 opened with a speaking engagement at the Diversity Network Group founded by Sherman and Linda Ray. They encourage businsess development in a family atmosphere among members.
The Q & A after my talk was engaging and powerful. I was inspired by this group of entrepreneurs and was reminded that we all have a story to tell!
The next event was at the Four Season’s Church where my friend Bill Walker is the pastor. I shared from the first chapter of my book, “When Desperation Meets Divinity a Miracle Happens” and signed books for the audience after the service.
Next stop on the book tour was the Barnes & Noble for a book signing. My old friend and collegue, Howard and his beautiful wife Gail stopped by. Howard was the warden for Nevada Prisons and we caught up on some ‘war’ stories while Gail humored us. Frank, a fellow Toastmaster, also came by with his family.
